graduated from the prestigious Vaganova Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Upon graduation, she danced with Odessa Opera and Ballet Theater in Ukraine. As a member of the Moscow Ballet, she toured India, Ceylon, Jordan and Egypt. Upon graduating from Kiev Theatrical University and Kievo-Mogilyansky Academy, Ms. Mazur was Artistic Director of the Kiev Art School for ten years where she staged several ballets for the company, including Yaroslavna, and toured Germany, Israel, France and Poland. After moving to the United States, she was the ballet teacher of levels 7-8, at Akron University. From 2000-2017, Ms. Mazur was Ballet Mistress of Faubourg Ballet. Her students now dance in companies around the world, including The Royal Danish Ballet, San Francisco Ballet and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Ms. Mazur has prepared many students for the prestigious Youth America Grand Prix, and was awarded “Outstanding Teacher” in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2015. During her career, she has staged many ballets, including Swan Lake, Snow Maiden, The Snow Queen, The Nutcracker, Le Corsaire, La Bayadère, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Don Quixote, Cipollino, Coppélia and Chopiniana.
