The Children’s Division, The Little Nutcracker, gives our youngest students in Pre-Ballet I through Level A the opportunity to perform in a smaller-scale children’s version of Salt Creek Ballet’s The Nutcracker. 

Charmingly titled, The Little Nutcracker is a level-appropriate introduction to The Nutcracker ballet. Not only do students learn the elegant choreography, but they are exposed to instruction and stage production – all while having fun!

During class time, children will explore Tchaikovsky’s music, learn simple choreography, use costume pieces and props, as well as take part in a filmed presentation. All rehearsals and filming will happen during class times and every child participates at their own pace.
